There was a big fire in the forest of Arizona. It was the worest wildfire in the US for firefighters to deal with for 30 years. The spread of the blaze caused low humidity and high heat, the windy conditions even made it worse. Many helicopters and planes flew above the flames and tried to extinguish (douse) it. Thousands of people were moved (evacuated) from this dangerous area. The forecast scientists (meteorologists) expected that there would be more forest fire in other states with high temperatures and drought.
